Here are the details for the event:
Description:
The Twin Cities Trail Riders, is offering an Adventure Bike ride, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 12 - 14, 2025.

Ride the backroads, forest roads and two tracks in the beautiful north woods of the Superior National Forest and the general North Shore area.

Each day will feature a route for all riders to enjoy.

Riders’ meeting at 9 AM each day.

Depart at your convenience after the riders meeting.

All routes are rated as easy to moderate on a large adventure motorcycle. Routes vary from 100-130 miles.

Most routes do not have gas stops.

There will be some bail points along the way.

A few optional hero/more difficult sections.

Pack a tank bag lunch for a lunch stop on the route. A box lunch is provided for Saturday and Sunday. Option to add on for Friday

Routes will be provided via GPX file at least three days prior to the event. There will not be paper route sheets provided.
This year's ride will be part of the Triumph AMA National Adventure Riding Series
​​The AMA National Adventure Riding Series offers the best routes, roads and two-track trail for showcasing the abilities of adventure bikes like these. Not only do these events include ample, challenging rides that are well marked and thoughtfully designed by local clubs, but they are built around a full weekend of activities that typically includes bonfires, camping, food and prizes.​
AMA membership is required for these national-level events. A one-event pass may be purchased for $20 (only available for purchase at the event) or a full AMA membership for $49 (online or at the event).
​Participants in the series also have the opportunity to win prizes from the series sponsors at the end of the year.

Directions:

Northeast on Hwy 61 out of Duluth

Turn right onto Hwy 1, past Silver Bay and Tettegouche State Park

Continue on Hwy 1 through the town of Finland for about 4.5 miles. Wildhurst Lodge sign and entrance is on the right/east side of the road.

Accommodations:
Call the Wildhurst Lodge & Campground at 218.353.7337 to make reservations. Tell them that you are part of the Twin Cities Trail Riders' Adventure Ride. We have a reservation block for the whole campground until 30-days prior to the event. You must call to make reservations.
RV Sites, Cabin or Tent camping options available on a first come basis. Call to determine options available.

Other near by options are available, such as the Finland State Forest Campground, Tettegouche State Park and other options in and near Silver Bay.
Riding Opportunities:
Ride the variety of back roads, forest roads and two-tracks in the Finland, MN area.
​
Back roads wind through the forest and range from easy to moderate. This is an adventure bike friendly event. No Single Track.

Requirements:

Bike must be Highway Licensed

Rider must have a Motorcycle Endorsement on their Drivers License

Must have a DNR OHM sticker on all bikes OR an Out of State Non-Resident OHM trail pass for all riders.

Reasonable sound level please.

Bike must have a USFS approved spark arrestor

ARMCA/District 23 membership; non-competition ($10/person or $25/family) or competition card
-
AMA membership is REQUIRED.
