TCTR Huntersville GIA Proposal up for Public Review

Public comment period has begun for the TCTR's first GIA proposal for Huntersville State Forest.

I'm pleased to announce that the public comment period has begun for the TCTR's first GIA proposal for Huntersville State Forest.  Check out this website below to read the press release, proposal and map.  Contact information is also on this site.

Positive comments would be appreciated from anyone who enjoys dirt biking in Minnesota.  I've read the proposal and it is what we've agreed to with the DNR.  However we were not allowed to use some trail that is apart of the normal Enduro and Trail Ride routes.  If you do comment, I'd like to have people politely comment that there are more trails available in this area and you'd like to see them added in the future.

We did only submit the proposal for the east side of the trail system so that is why that is not on there.  This also doesn't mean the west side of the system is closed, we just won't be maintaining that side this year.
