Twin Cities Trail Riders (TCTR) is a Minnesota based OHM (Off-Highway Motorcycle) trail riding club.

TCTR was formed to address the lack of non-competition based riding clubs in Minnesota. Which in turn helps get us organized to do our part in making sure that we will all have trails to ride on in the future. We hope that by being a non competition club that we can help attract new riders to our sport and be of some assistance to those just starting out and looking for someone to ride with. We are a recreational club that supports responsible riding for fun.

As a continuation of doing our part, TCTR took on the maintenance responsibilities for the motorcycle trails in the Huntersville State Forest.

TCTR is both an AMA and ARMCA chartered club. Twin Cities Trail Riders supports AMA and ARMCA Trail Rider membership.

Unfortunately, the Beginners Ride scheduled for this weekend, 6/23-24, has beeen postponed. Once we have a new date and possibly a new location established we will get the word out.

Beginners Ride at ERX in Elk River - 6/23-24

Here is some information about this weekend's Beginners Ride. This ride is NOT a typical trail ride, it is an opportunity for new riders to gain riding experience in a friendly environment with some guidance and encouragement.

There will be open area riding, there will be some areas with cones setup to practice starting, stopping and turns. There will be some trails to practice on; wide open and easy single track. There will be some knowledgeble riders there that will be patient and willing to help provide some guidance. However, this is not a dirt bike school. Riders will need to have some basic skills and have their own bike to ride.

Who is this ride for:
  • This ride is intended for those that are new to dirt bike riding.
  • For riders that are not yet comfortable riding in the trees.
  • For riders that want to spend more time in a field or on wider trails.
  • For riders that want to gain some experience without any pressure.
